Migration verification, not migration hope
Every record migrates.
Or we tell you exactly which one didn't.
VerifiedMigration baselines your source before a move, reconciles every task, comment, attachment and custom field against the destination, and hands you a client-ready exception report with evidence — never a made-up confidence percentage.
Built for agencies, MSPs and consultants running ClickUp, monday.com, Asana & Notion migrations.
Verifying migrations between
Migrations fail quietly, not loudly.
Native importers report "complete" the moment they stop running — not the moment the data is actually correct. The gaps show up three weeks later, in a client meeting, when it's expensive to fix.
"For projects that did migrate, subtasks were imported as level 1 instead of maintaining their proper hierarchy."
Four steps. You keep your migration tool.
Recon doesn't compete with your importer, your migration vendor, or your own scripts. It sits underneath whatever moves the data and checks its work.
Fingerprint the source
Every task, comment, attachment and custom field is extracted and fingerprinted before anything moves — hierarchy, dates, assignees, all of it.
Run your migration
Use the native importer, a third-party tool, or your own scripts. Recon is destination-agnostic — it doesn't care who moved the data.
Compare, don't guess
Every destination record is matched against the baseline on identity where possible, and on a constrained evidence trail when it isn't.
Hand off the evidence
A client-ready exception report naming exactly what needs a human — with the fields and evidence behind every line, not a score.
We don't tell you "97% confident." We tell you which 3%.
Arbitrary confidence percentages aren't defensible in a client meeting. Every row in a Recon report resolves to one of three states, each backed by the evidence that produced it.
| Task | Status | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
|
Client Onboarding Flow
|
Verified match | Source GID preserved as ClickUp custom field. Title, parent chain, assignee and 14/14 subtasks matched exactly. |
|
Website Redesign — Final
|
Ambiguous match | Two source tasks share a normalized title. Destination task matches one on description fingerprint but not on due date. Needs a human. |
|
Q3 Budget Review
|
No match found | Task title and parent list matched, but 1 of 3 source attachments has no corresponding file at destination. |
|
Vendor Contract Renewal
|
Ambiguous match | Source project was private with 2 members. Destination List privacy cannot be confirmed via API — flagged for manual check. |
Built for the people who get blamed when a migration goes wrong.
Prove the work, in writing
Hand your client an exception report instead of a verbal "it should all be there." Turns a trust problem into a documented deliverable.
Standardize migrations across clients
Run the same reconciliation process on every engagement, regardless of which tool moved the data or which junior ran the import.
Add a billable line item
Verification is a service clients will pay for separately from the migration itself — it's the part they were already worried about.
Priced per migration, not per seat.
You're not paying for software you use every day — you're paying for one thing to go right. Pricing scales with record volume, not headcount.

Before you ask
Do you run the migration, or just verify it?
Both, depending on the engagement. Most clients keep their existing importer or migration vendor and bring us in to reconcile the result. We can also run the move ourselves if you'd rather hand off the whole thing.
What if the migration already happened?
We can still reconcile after the fact if the source system hasn't been deleted or heavily edited since. It's a stronger result when we baseline before the move, but a post-hoc check is far better than no check.
Which platforms do you support today?
Asana and ClickUp are fully supported. monday.com and Notion are in active rollout. If your corridor isn't listed, tell us — most of the reconciliation engine is platform-agnostic.
Why not just show a confidence percentage?
Because "94% confident" isn't defensible when a client asks which 6%. Every row resolves to verified, ambiguous, or no-match — each with the specific evidence that produced it, so you can stand behind the report.
Ship the migration your client won't have to redo.
Send us read access to your source workspace. We'll baseline it, and if you've already migrated, reconcile it — free, no commitment — so you can see exactly what a Recon report looks like on your own data.
